MacBeth Poster & postcards - work in progress - version 2 as of 9/17/04

#3: Ran #2 (below) through a PhotoShop filter to simplify it. FWIW, this is the one I prefer!

#2: Original sketch with details added.

#1: Original rough sketch; quote changed.

This is the text area from the bottom of the posters, slightly expanded vertically, arranged for 4" x 6" postcards.
The reverse can be "Something wicked..." and the artwork from the poster -- or blank.

MacBeth Poster & postcards - initial concepts as of 9/13/04

Artwork on both poster concepts is *really* rough sketch, just so y'all can advise me which one to work on. I think either design would be effective in simple & cheaper black & white. A few drops of red blood dripping from the daggers on the left-hand design would be effective -- but not cost-effective to print; maybe hand-color outlines of drops?
Left: Ideally, I'd work from a B&W photo of OUR MacBeth & Lady MacBeth, then either leave them recognizable, posterize/stylize them, or turn them into a silhouette.
Right: This would be a pen & ink style drawing/outline, then filled with 3 shades of gray.
